Disposable Information

Savoury’s has new “Eco-Friendly” disposable ware that has been implemented into daily use at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

The plate ware is all natural having no bleach, chemicals or lamination and made from fully renewable resources such as bamboo, rice and sugar cane.

The utensils, called Spudware, are made of potato and corn starch.  This high-heat tolerant, bio-based cutlery is biodegradable, sustainable and durable.

Our paper cups are created from fully renewable resources and compostable and biodegradable.  The insides are coated with PLA (polyactide) which is a vegetable plastic with biodegradable additives making it heat resistant.

The “plastic” containers and clear “plastic” cups also manufactured using the PLA as well as a biopolymer made from corn that is grown in the USA
