Savoury's has received rave reviews for the food served at the Palm Springs International Film Festival awards gala!  Attendees at the star-studded event included Morgan Freeman, Clint Eastwood, Sean Penn, Helen Mirran, Michelle Pfeiffer, Mariah Carrey, Jeff Bridges and Quentin Tarantino. 

The evening started with passed hors d’oeuvres consisting of Grilled Chicken Baja Cones, Red Wine Poached Pear with Bousin Bleu Cheese atop a Crostini, Blackened Beef Tenderloin with Tomatillo Avocado Corn Salsa in a Tortilla Cup, Shrimp Gazpacho Shooters and Antipasto Skewers. 

The preset salad course was Baby Romaine and Miicro greens with a chopped Three Bean Medley, garnished with a Grape and Goat Cheese Fritter.

The Korean Sesame Beef Short Ribs over Wasabi Mashed Potatoes was a crowd pleaser, with most guests eating every last bite!

We topped the evening off with two alternating desserts, Flourless Chocolate Cake garnished with a White Chocolate Comedy Mask and White Chocolate Lemon Pastry garnished with a Dark Chocolate Tragedy Mask.

Following the gala, we hosted a VIP brunch for meeting planners and trade magazine writers that were flown in from across the country.
