   Team California
Community service is one of the main inspirations within Team California. The entire organization feels that it needs to give back to the community, which so often supports us as culinarians. It is for this reason that we have created a number of committees and programs to deal with this issue and to support the communities we live in.

The jewel in our crown is the Emergency Disaster Relief Committee. This Group helps organize food donations and preparations for shelters as well as in emergency situations. Team California was called upon during the Laguna fires to help provide hundreds of meals for firefighters and emergency personnel. Our long term goal is to create food banks in San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco in addition to our food bank in Orange county.

In addition to the Emergency Disaster Relief Committee, Team California is involved in a number of Charity dinners including The Boys and Girls Club. Annually, the Team flies out to Las Vegas, Nevada, to take part in the Meadows School Scholarship Dinner. The goal of the school is to help educate underprivileged youth who otherwise may not the opportunity for any additional education beyond public schooling. Team California’s involvement only resates its commitment to not only community service but education as well.

Currently, Team California has collaborated with Los Angeles Veterans Initiative Inc. and developed a program that provides 3 meals a day, seven days a week, to the homeless veterans on the streets of Los Angeles. This long term commitment was developed to reprocess food from Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers, and food purveyors. These contributions allow Team California to teach and train students and homeless veterans in food handling and the culinary arts. This effort not only provides meals to the homeless, but also gives them an opportunity to develop marketable skills that may lead to jobs and a better life.

Lastly, Team California, a non-profit organization, continually reaches out to provide culinary guidance and service to organizations like the Red Cross, LIFE, numerous homeless shelters, and local schools.
Executive Chef Brad Toles
Our Executive Chef, Brad Toles, has the unique honor of Leading the Team California. His team recently won four gold medals at the International Culinary Olympics in Berlin. Currently, Chef Toles' team is ranked first in the United States and fifth in the world. We are honored to have International Culinary Olympic quality food presentation and service available to our clients.

Chef Torres is the Team Captain for Team Central and is currently the Executive Chef at Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta California.

Chef Donald Lockhart
Chef lockhart is a member of Team Central and is currently the Chef de Cuisine Of Cafe Jardin at the Sherman Gardens Library in Newport Beach,Ca.

Chef Antonio Ayestaran
Chef Ayestaran is a member of Team Central and is currently the Executive Chef at Alta Sierra Country Club in Grass Valley, California.

Hugo Capistran
Hugo is a member of Team South and is currently The Chef of Granville's Steak House In Anaheim, California

Kue Her
Chef Kue Her is a member of Team South and is currently the Excutive Chef at Aux Delices Bistro in San Diego,California.

Chef Randy Foster
Chef Foster is a member of Team South.

Eric Mauritzen
Chef Mauritzen is a member of Team South

Favio Gomez
Chef Gomez is a member of Team North and is currently is the Executive Chef at the Double Tree Hotel In Bellevue, Washington.

Kay Carreon is a Team Alternate and is currently the Director of Food and Beverage Catering Sales and Convention Services at the Double Tree Golf Resort in San Diego California.

Chef Dunque is a Team Alternate and is currently a Savoury's team member.He is a Sous Chef at the Palm Springs Convention Center and has also been working at the Savoury's Resturant in Laguna Beach California.

Ramon Garcia
